Iris is a cosy dining-room restaurant in Eindhoven (Netherlands, in the beautiful and welcoming province Noord-Brabant) that serves delicious vegetarian speciality dishes that are made using fresh and mainly organic ingredients. Everything is prepared in our own kitchen.
We serve vegetarian meals to everybody who appreciates good food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian alike.
We only use natural ingredients in our cooking, and although we feature recipes from around the world, we do our best to source our products locally.
When selecting the products, seasonal factors are taken into account. This is why menu cards are changed with each new season.
The restaurant is open Thursday, Friday & Saturday 17:00-22:00 hours, the kitchen closes at 21:30 hours. Group bookings, arrangements can be made to open on other days of the week and at other hours (for more details about this, please see catering section). Also, special arrangements can be made for buffets and appetizers.
During the summer, meals are also served outside in the garden. The dining area inside, however, is a smoke free zone.
Reservations are not compulsory, but it is advisable to do so by telephone, especially if you come in a group (040-212.34.66).
Vegan- and other specific dietary requirements can also be catered for by special order, but please inform us of these by telephone before 14:00 hours!
Please bear in mind that only cash payments can be accepted in the restaurant. Electronic payment is not possible.
Gift vouchers for any desired amount may be purchased at the restaurant. Subscription meal cards are also available on a name basis.

Restaurant Iris is on the southeast side of Eindhoven centre: Voorterweg 168, a side street of the Geldropseweg (for a map in case you decide to drive, see: hoe u ons bereikt)
Public transport
Restaurant Iris can be reached from the Central Station Eindhoven by Bus routes 20 or 24 (direction: Geldrop-Helmond). After about 10 minutes, you must get off at the first busstop on the Geldropseweg and then it is about another 5 minutes walk to 'Iris', Voorterweg 168.
Bus services run about every 15 minutes.
